What this covers

This policy covers smokeyriver.studio and the Smokey River Studio shop pages. Casual Misconduct contest entries have a separate privacy and data deletion notice.

Site and product measurement

The main site and shop pages use the Meta Pixel to measure page visits and product views for our Facebook shop catalog. Product views may send the product ID, product name, price and currency to Meta to connect a visit to the matching catalog item.

The shop checkout page may send an InitiateCheckout event with product IDs, quantities, cart value and currency. Links to Etsy preserve the referral and campaign parameters supplied with the visit. This website does not send a Purchase event for an Etsy purchase.

Google Analytics (optional)

The home, shop and checkout pages offer optional Google Analytics (measurement ID G-HXZT46ZMW8). Nothing is loaded or sent to Google unless you choose "Allow analytics". If you allow it, Google Analytics sets first-party cookies (named _ga and _ga_…) and records page visits: the page path, an allow-listed campaign label, the public Etsy listing number on a product page, the referring site's domain, and standard browser and approximate location data that Google derives. No names, contact details, form contents or other query strings are sent. Google Signals and ad personalization are turned off.

You can change your choice at any time with the "Analytics" button at the bottom of those pages. Choosing "No thanks" after allowing stops collection and removes the analytics cookies from this site.

Purchases

Product purchases happen through Etsy. Etsy handles the order, payment, shipping and customer account information under its own policies. We do not collect payment or shipping details through this site's public shop or checkout pages.

How we use it

We use site and product measurement to understand which pages and products are being visited, troubleshoot catalog matching and measure Facebook shop activity.

Contest pages

We do not place the Meta Pixel on the Casual Misconduct contest pages. The contest page and its rules offer the same optional Google Analytics described above, explained in the contest privacy notice. No tracking runs on either privacy notice.
